For my KW, no doubt. But I do prefer Volvo over freight shaker. I'll miss this truck. It's the hardest thing about switching divisions.

Is the flatbed division mostly Freightliner now with some KW? I seen where someone said flatbeds are mostly new ones now,..or about. I remember a friend of mine saying a year or so ago he went out west,...and not only a ton of new box trucks,...but a bunch of new flatbed stretched chassis trucks waiting.

Yeah, mostly all Cascadias with a stretched frame one or two frame boxes on each side, and a headache rack with three storage doors.

There are T680s some mid roofs in FB, but as far as I've seen those are all lease op trucks, with the same stretched frame and boxes.

My 680 is a company truck on the reefer side.

They even have a few crewcab / 4door freightliner M2s with headache racks sitting around. What they are used for I have no idea.

All the trucks are maintained fairly well, and are professionally cleaned at most terminals. I've been through 4 trucks solo. Two Volvo 670s at 400,000+ and a Cascadia that was brand new with like 200 miles and all the plastic still everywhere. Now my T680 I got with 249k. They have all been phenomenal trucks.

Granted the fleet has some lemons, and you may get one. What happens is a truck will break down and go into the shop for a major repair of somesort. The driver will switch into another truck. The shop will test drive what they just fixed, but someone will pick it up and find out they didn't fix the right problem after a few hundred or 1000 miles. It happens.

On flatbed odds are good for something new. But if you end up with something older, they trade in at 450-500k. And if you trade in, they typically give you a new one if it's avalible.

I personally don't care as long as it dosent have the retarded lane sensor I keep hearing about. Never had a truck with one, and I know I don't want one.

Lol,...i hear ya. I have seen the videos with those #### things....Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I heard you can turn them off briefly like if you're in construction and crossing lane,...but it's just temp then comes back on.
