@KD5AXG I would just stop complaining on here. Because you're just opening yourself up to a lot of backlash. Especially from MidWest_MacDaddy.

Me being so new, it's tough for me too. One thing I would do is look up both addresses on Google maps, satellite and see which one looks more reasonable to deliver to. Then call the business on Monday during business hours to verify which address location. Sorry not much help.

Just curious here. How many of our drivers on this thread have a CB in your truck? I call out to every Abilene I see and never get a response.

I simply can't imagine being out here without a radio.

I do indeed have a southern accent and give it a little more sugar when I want something. I can be smooth as silk when I want to be!!! Hubby says that I have one of those phone sex voices so i use it! Now when they see me in person, hahaha. Y'all ever watch Married With Children? There's an episode where Peggy's mother is Butter, a phone sex operator, and several of his buddies fall in love with her. Way funny.

I usually run with mine turned low. And it doesn't have much range so if you're going the other way,I won't get you for long. If I get on there, usually some ###### will be rude. Case in point. Last week coming out of groveport, there was another Abilene driver a bit behind me in traffic on US23. He asked me where I was headed and said he was headed to the pilot as he was waiting on dispatch. When I responded that it was indeed a PITA to have to wait, some ignorant jerk came on and said something to the effect of if I was up your @&$ it'd definitely be a pain. I said that there's always got to be one of those sh@&$. Again, a crude remark from mr ######. The other driver then began defending me, first as a fellow driver, and as a female. Then the other guy got real ugly and called him the n word. Our guy really went off then. Told the guy he was in the green Volvo and if he was man enough, to pull over and repeat that. Let's just say I had a lot of folks looking at MY green Volvo as I rolled past. It was horrible. I don't know who that other driver was, but I thank him for defending me and am truly sorry that a nice conversation ended up making him want to fight. People really are jerks out here nowadays. (Well, everywhere really.). That's why I stay to myself most of the time.

You mean that thing up there with the pretty blue lights that I've had in a truck since 1978, turned on and always ready to use? Yeah I got one, and use it all the time. If you can overcome the continued fighting of the Civil War 150+ years after the fact, listen to people complain about the northeast, and have most people act like ignorant grade school kids, it's really a useful and helpful tool, especially across Wyoming in the winter time.

I plan on getting one, but it isn't high priority on my list when first starting out. So far, I haven't had the need to use one yet. But it will be nice to have one just in case it's needed.

When I do get one, I probably won't have it on unless I need to use it.

I don't ever turn mine on except if it's a traffic accident or at shipper/receiver. I'm not interested in anything else.
I use to wave at fellow Abilene drivers, but fearing it may be Chatdaddy, I don't do that any more either.

I'm trying, but I can say "Have a nice day" and he'd ask if I'd called or QC'd about it.
    LOL
