hey all if anyone in Columbus, Ohio ever needs work there is a small time food service company RDP Food Service they are an Italian Company and service pizza places mostly. They have some tractor trailers and some straights.

Last night I had diner at one of there accounts Zeppe's Pizza which is a local chain but very surprisingly high quality. RDP seems to always be hiring but there small though way small compared to Sysco, U.S. Or GFS there a baby carrot, but they carved out a niche doing a lot of local pizza chains I guess there really good at doing 12-20 unit pizza shop chains that have to be off the truck by 11:00am.
I see RDP Food Service every Tuesday morning at Zeppe's pizza going to town ramping off groceries.

So just throwing it out there if anyone is looking.

I never heard that, I worked for a a Sysco Cleveland shuttle site in Columbus and never heard those guys mention that. Where they run separate? Because they've always been in their current yard as long as I can remember.

They have a really small lot--I used to hate delivering there with a 53 footer if there were any obstacles. I feel bad for the sleeper truck guys who had to deliver there.

I met one of their drivers one night at the UDF by their warehouse. He said he worked in the warehouse and they helped him get his CDL, which I thought was pretty cool.

No they don't which is probably why there now hiring never comes down. They have a drop yard in Twinsburgh,Ohio. I think there $15.00 or so an hour. However better then nothing.

He was just starting work, and I was off duty. We were both buying milkshakes at the time. UDF manufactures a good milkshake product!
