OP just one final point about your situation. If that CRST recruiter pulled up your record and said you are disqualified either that person is not interpreting 383.51 correctly, there is a mistake somewhere in your records or you are not telling the truth about those convictions and your license status at the time. It is one of the three there is no other option. If it is a simple misinterpretation that's easily fixed by making application with another carrier. If there is a mistake in your records YOU will have to find out where it is and apply the proper fix. Fixing the last option is Prima facie. Est quod est.

That is true and actually is where my thoughts are. However the D word was used. Most times a carrier will not say the D word in that case , just something like we can't hire you because of (fill in the blank).

 

Go on the registry's website and download your driving record, see if it's actually showing, if you beat the DUI it shouldn't be on your driving record anymore, seeing that was before Malanie's law they weren't as crazy with permanently branding you with that. If it's not their pull your CORI and see if that's where it's showing. If it's not showing on those two pull your DAC.

On the PLUS side, CRST did you a favor! I seriously doubt most normal places will have a problem with something THAT old and prior to a CDL. I lost my license 8 times for almost everything prior to my CDL hasn't hurt me yet.

 

If you are a CDL holder and have on your record AS A CDL HOLDER 2 DUIs or refusals to test it is Federal regulations that make you disqualified. EVEN IF SAID VIOLATIONS ARE NOT IN A CMV. NOT company policy. You are forbidden per FMCSA 383.51 to drive a CMV for life, there is an exception to get back qualified after 10 years.. In fact I think your home state will actually suspend your CDL. I am concerned about this for the OP because the OP reports the CRST recruiter actually used the word Disqualified.
