I was getting started in Autocross before I started here. I look forward to zooming through the cones again.

 

Thus, you had a MUCH better trainer than I had. I got pulled into one today on a "cast net" grab via red lighting my prepass. As I moved to the scale, the scale operator looked for my trailer, shook his head, then waved me on. LOL

I have logged out completely, as that was all I knew to do. I called my DM today, and found out that it was AJ that called me last night. So, I suppose I'll have to meet with him when I return the truck.

He also said I had every right to be upset about what I've had to deal with during my time here. Just wait until I tell him I got stiffed on detention pay this check. I guess I'm just the "lucky" one here.

Going to bed now. I'll be acting a fool tomorrow thru Sunday, and repenting my tush off Sunday night!

I did have a good trainer but much of what I've posted I either knew already or figured out along the way.

I'm not going to "suggest" anything anymore but consider this. One of the most important folks in this company Called YOU. Gave you permission to go ahead and drive 800 miles home. AGREES that you have reason to be upset. And certainly seems open to discuss the issues with you.

Now, apart from some of the truck problems you've had, I've been "stiffed" (to use your words) on EVERY compensation I ever put in for. Well over 1.2k. (After switching DM's I've now gotten a couple new ones). I told them I'm not concerned with what's past if things improve going forward. I "rescued" a bum truck and have had issues with it since. I'm working thru them without complaint. I'm NOT being run the way I both applied for and was told I would be. I'm NOT getting the miles I was clearly told by many I should be.

It's been suggested by many including JB I should take these issues to Alan and talk to him. I've never even spoken to the man yet and .... he called you???

DUDE! Call me crazy but, this company is reaching out to you and, despite my very good record and performance, hardly even knows I exist! You have a GOLDEN opportunity to turn it all around if you wish. I'm envious!

Now I'm working thru channels and things are slowly improving. I only WISH he'd call me! Think about it! In a POSITIVE light!!

Yeah, I've always loved racing. Never done autocross. I just bought a 1200+hp dragster..so I need to be home more to enjoy it!!

 

Wow, wouldn't Ya need to work to pay for it? Racing takes some DEEP POCKETS

Yea, that could get ugly. In my case at least.

I will look a bit closer at the inactive option.

 

That makes it sound as if you can only use PC if you are not under load... which isn't the case... but again, par for this course.
