I disagree with you on one thing, there is plenty of steak out here, and gravy on top of it. The problem you guys have is sni doesn't give you a seat at the table that serves steak and gravy. It's like a big family holiday meal, you got the grown ups sitting at the big table and the kids at the little table. I couldn't partner with a carrier that makes me sit at the kids table. Not sure how(or is it why?) you guys can handle that.Last edited: Oct 28, 2016

Wish the same can be said for IC teams
Dont get me wrong. There's 2000+ mile loads here that pay $1.50- $1.60 even to SoCal. Problem is there's barely any teams loads.
Probably why company teams do a lot of solo loads as well. -
2000+ mile load is a Team load.
I'm confused here it seems, you went teaming to make more money by utilizing your truck more and you say you're doing that but at the same time you're complaining there's no team freight.
How are you making more money teaming if there's no team freight for you to haul?redoctober83, drvrtech77, spyder7723 and 4 others Thank this. -
I say pointless because I've deadheaded hundreds of miles out of areas I know Schneider has freight.
2000 mile loads for $1.50 are here but when you have to deadhead 300 miles for it well to me that load just became 2300 miles for $1.30
Schneider aint gonna pay company drivers to pointlessly deadhead like that which is probably why as said before that 46% of loads pulled by company teams are solo loads. They probably give them shorter solo loads that takes them in the general direction of the next team load.
The team ICs have to eat the huge deadhead which in my opinion is a really dumb system.
Yes i say all this and I'm still doing it and yes I'm still making more money than when solo. I get aggravated because i know the system for teams could be easily be improved but I'm content overall being I'm hitting my income goals.TennMan Thanks this. -
I have seen tight loads and asked myself how in the hell can a company truck run this?
But @freightwipper is right, there is not enough loads on the board. I've been saying this ever since I got here. I was blasted by an IC on this board because he didn't believe there weren't any loads and I dead headed from the north west to socal. @freightwipper is also right about company teams getting solo loads, I've talked to company teams, they run loads I've never seen to get to other team freight. I have caught them at a shipper with BOL's for loads that weren't on the board. And those loads connected to other team freight so there would've been zero dead head.
I've been looking for a load from the north west for 4 days now and nothing. Yes there are a handful of .80 loads going to California, but I will just deadhead down rather than be insulted with a $700/1200 mile fuel money load.
I've been saying I'm going to the solo board sometime this winter/spring and now I'm not sure if I want to waste my time with SNI at all. Because spyder is right, I'm getting tired of sitting at the kids table when I KNOW there are seats available at the adult table.redoctober83, Home_on_wheels, mxpx148 and 3 others Thank this. -
As long as there's a line to get a seat at the kids table it'll never change. That's why the program has declined so rapidly.
The only time it will get better is when SNI is losing IC's faster than they're bringing them on.
Team solo all the above.redoctober83, spyder7723, 48Packard and 1 other person Thank this.
