I believe the mascot for the West Memphis, Arkansas High School is a Lot Lizard.

 

They have enough students still in school that make it to 12th grade????

 

The point I'm making is your getting into a trade where you drives at the peak times with all the maniacs, whilest the regular peoples watch from the family room. There is next year eh?

 

Oh you make it work. You can make anything work. It's just not all ducky's & bunnies. Takes a certain type. I think the more predatory people are better suited for it.
I had one guy that used to be an $80 ride, He called me direct. Way out on the NW side, he would go downtown to the main VA. An hour later I'd take him back home, $80.
I just assume give the ride for nothing cause he's a vet and a nice guy. But it's your job. Never sat well with me.
Had another guy that lived 2 miles away use to go to the casino 2 or 3 times a week. $55 each way. Had to get up in the middle of night to go get him usually. He was dying a slow death, his legs were almost black from the knees down from diabetes. Another dude that was too obese to drive. He was worth $80 to $100 week.
Just felt like I was taking advantage of their misfortune, and it never set right with me.

 

Of course! The school gets state and federal money for each student, so it's in the best interest of the school to keep promoting them from one grade to the next. Otherwise, they might drop out.
Besides, it might hurt their self image if they were held accountable for their education.
