I am using a tripac apu and have the tk53024-19-od manual but my apu will not start automatically when I shut the key off. I have to manually go into the sleeper set the a.c option and let it kick on. Any idea which setting which will turn it on when I shut the key off. I am trying to avoid going to thermoking and paying.

That is now the default setting for Tripacs, the old ones would start up as soon as you shut the truck off, if you had them set for AC, or the bunk heater would fire up. Now you must turn the switch to either AC or heat to end the standby mode. Other posters have said there is a way for TK to reprogram to start the AC automatically, but I don't know that for certain, and it is not something that can be done by a driver.

Mine does same thing the only way 2 turn ac/heat on is to manually set it plus fan setting. I have to reset it every use. Company say its nothing wrong with it. The only way it come on without me setting it is when I run microwave but it dont be on nothing its just running for battery sake

I have the same problem. No owners manual, shop days there is nothing wrong. I want it to automatically start heating when needed. I shouldn't have to turn it on each time. epwitmer@comcast.net
