On the Total Wireless website, it's advertised that they have a 3GB add on data pack for $10.
I'm currently using Boost Mobile, and they have something similar, it's 2GB for $10. The key is, it can be restarted when you run out, you don't have to wait for a whole cycle to purchase another.
Can that be done on Total Wireless? Their 5GB plan is $10 less than I'm currently paying, and the $10 add on data gets 1 more gig. I worked it out, and if you can restart the add on data once you run out on Total Wireless, I can get a total of 30GB plus everything phone specific for about $60/month less than I was paying for the same amount of data with my Verizon post-paid account. And any more comes much cheaper than the $15/GB I was paying if I went over.

I use total wireless from Wallyworld. $36 monthly/data and I am on VZ network. Basically same as straight talk(same co) only 10 a month less. Works well for me
BUMBACLADWAR Thanks this. -
How's your reception on I-65 in Kentucky?
And are you limited to one extra 3GB data pack per monthly cycle or can you purchase another once you run it out?
I managed to go over probably 4 or 5 times while I was on post-paid with Verizon on a 30GB plan, so I use a lot. -

Reception will be what you are already used to since you will be on VZW coverage. Just make certain you get VZW. My first time out they sent me a T-Maybe phone. I sent it back -
Total's coverage map shows a gaping hole in most of western KY, which is why I was asking about that. -
If your looking for coverage. Newer phones work better then the older models.
My verizon s6 does better then my note2 ever did. Coverage wise. Although, for whatever reason. It stopped working for a 3 mile radius around home. When i got off the road to work locally again. I have to connect my phone to the home wifi to make it work at home. -
Unfortunately the newer phones tend to lack things I need such as microSD slots. Note 5 lacks one so the newest I can go is a 4, since the 7 is actually a booby trap IED.

The s7 is supposed to have the slot again. Been awhile since I looked at it. But I'm pretty sure specs said SD slot.

Virtually none of the Verizon MVNOs roam or, if they do, they have to pay extra for that ability. The 40 or so miles from VA to PA on I-81 through WV and MD will be the same thing. No service or have to pay $0.XX/minute extra.
Selectel Wireless is the only Verizon MVNO that I am aware of that allows their subscribers to roam or get the full Verzon network without incurring extra charges. They (Selectel) are also one of the very few Verizon MVNOs that are not owned by the Mexican, Carlos Slim, owner of American Movil, parent company of Tracfone, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, Page Plus, and a host of others. -
This is the worst thing I ever did. Mamas S7 cant send pics, acts up and just opens stuff at will. Mine is not that bad ....yet. Carrier keeps blaming me for the BS too.
Makes me sick! $800 each for these POS. Give me back my analog bag phone on Cingular.Iowalobertarian Thanks this.
