Is that why you keep the wife near so her purse is close by?

I have seen guys put chain hangers there before. Other then the tires throwing #### all over them it seems like a convenient place. I never undersood where most headache rack keep the chains. I guess it works if you can stand on the deck plate and put the chains on from on top of the trailer.

I carry everything on the trailer so I have to get a little creative. I don't have a headache rack.

I can think of a couple reasons that'd be quite helpful. Couple times that it would #### you as well depending on what you do.

I give you high marks for thinking about what could happen, take action in preventing the loss. It just shows the professional that you are.

Anybody have any tricks for storing the metal corner protectors, usually used for chains? Or the small plastic corner protectors? I'm always jealous of MJs storage for the large corners, but I can't think how to do it on the smaller ones.

Cable and eyehooks bolted to crossmembers for the small ones.

For the steel ones i use these wire spring clips i got from tricity canvas. If i remember i will snap a picture of them. Each one holds about 8. Keeps them together so they don't bounce all around.

Sure please. I've got all my little ones in a tool box, but would prefer a better solution. I'm trying to move towards having the trailer hold everything, vs relying on the truck.
