If you never talk to someone you never have the opportunity to establish that reputation. Point and click removes that personal interaction in which you get remembered.

That's my point. You won't be remembered in a point and click system. It takes talking to a live person along with the reliability, for someone to remember you. If you select loads of a computer screen and never talk to the person assigning/dispatching them, they just aren't going to remember you. Is just the way human brains are built. Agents know me by name because i make time to communucate with them about loads i do. And when those stellar paying loads come up they think of names of who to put on it, not truck numbers.

Maybe this has been discussed but doesn't SNI have a GPS system on their trailers that shows location and whether it's empty?

They can see trailer but they don't know if they're empty.
Many times Schneider said "so and so trailer shows empty" and I'm not no dude it's in a door with a red light.

It is empty, it's just in a door. They unloaded it hours ago but one of the lumpers is missing a finger so he counts on base 9, so it looks like there's a bunch of overage.

I thought I saw where SNI had actually put some type of sonar/radar in their trailers so they could "see" inside as this was their #1 driver complaint....but then again this was back in the late 90's I believe.

I always call in when they try this crp with me.
Exsample, the day they sent a nfr 44mile round trip had to call ss after a few go arounds with the person on the phone I ask for the supervisor ( there till about midnight) they got back on the phone and said they called box and sent me a new nfr location it was less than a mile away with 2 mts there.
