You know I realize that I notice people talking about fedwrecks all the time but never seem to see much about ups drivers. Are they a higher caliber driver that doesn't get into much trouble? Or is oops a better moniker for them? Just curious

 

Most of the catastrophic events you see with FedEx are by their contractors. Not all of course but most. I've found UPS drivers to be quite professional on the road and seem to be governed slower. I don't see too many whacky antics by FedEx company trucks though but winter time is another story. From what I understand, they are pushed pretty hard to keep schedule.

 

Also if you are following to close. It will give u a critical event.

 

Seen SNI pulling FedEx Ground. Guess Schneider doesn't have enough loads so had to lease some trucks onto FedEx. As for UPS, actually saw one pulled over today. They tend to go a little fast through the construction zones along with FedEx.

 

Anytime I let go of the steering wheel when stopped my power steering sounds like it's working really hard. Similar to when you've got the steers hard over. Any pressure against the wheel and the noise disappears.

Any guesses? Fluid level is normal and unchanged, no obvious leaks.

 

Maybe power steering filter needs changing.

 

Check your blinker fluid!
