Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

I was talking with a couple of ex drivers from there and one of them brought up that he had the same kind of issue. Between tommy and Buddy you almost have to keep your hand on your wallet when you walk in.

 

Man, you ain't kidding about Estero. I didn't have a problem getting it in because the parking lot is empty except for the Starbucks. But I can see that it would be a total nightmare if I couldn't have started backing up out in the empty parking lot.

Like I say, old hat for you old timers, but still tricky for me. But I'm getting better! I woulda totally lost my rag if I'd had to do this six weeks ago.

 

Also, I found out what I've been hauling: Holiday chocolates. I'm in Florida if anybody wants to hijack the truck.

Closest target near me is like 1.5 hours away, unless there's one I don't know about so walmart is my only choice. I seen you went to Brooklyn again.. lol. Seeing that put a smile on my face, especially that it was you and not me. I'm enjoying the home life way too much for that. I'm not missing it yet.
