The actual ticket says "no cmv parking" and signs were posted.
There were no signs that said "no cmv parking" soo cop lied there.

Secondly the signs (which I wasn't near) said no tractor trailers. If they meant ALL trucks including bobtail trucks wouldnt the sign be more something like this:

The sign was specific to RVs and tractor trailers.

Lastly the signs were around the walmart parking area, I was pretty much parked by Burger King

I can stay neutral in this one lol. The cop probably didn't have a clue bobtail was not a cmv. Having said that you are correct. Now you may want to look up the the code for the charge and read it. Most will probably say more than 6 wheels is considered a cmv.

Well what is he driving? He's driving a tractor correct? I mean do you want them to put up a sign listing every type of vehicle i.e. No straight truck parking no tractor trailer parking no bobtail parking. I mean come on. No tractor trailer parking obviously means hey we don't want any commercial vehicles in our lot.

If you have a full day to waste in traffic court, fight it. Just make sure you have enough on you to pay the fine if you're found guilty or the judge may put you on probation until you're able to pay the entire fine. Remember, tickets generate revenue for the local government. How often do you think a judge will dismiss a ticket and lose the revenue...?

The sign said no RV or Tractor Trailer parking.

The cop wrote on the ticket no cmv parking and that signs were posted.

The signs didnt say CMV, in fact the signs mentioned RVs also.

My point is if the cop was accurate and there was a sign that said "no CMV trucks" or heck just "no trucks" I would get it.
When I saw the sign I was like well i dont have a trailer and I will park far away from the walmart anyway so I should be fine.
Cop with nothing better to do thought otherwise.

Was the truck being used to transport or pickup freight as is? If so a pickup truck is more commercial than a bobtail.
