I really hate Subway and Chester's Chicken. I would rather have a level 1 inspection or get a sleep apnea test or even a colonoscopy than have to eat at either of those places again. I would really appreciate it if the experienced drivers on this forum could post the locations of their favorite non-chain restaurants that have truck parking nearby. I will start this thread by saying Sonny's BBQ in Corbin Kentucky is really good and right next to the Love's on I-75.

I read somewhere that you should never buy anything chicken at Subway because its not unheard of for the chicken to sit there for 5 or 6 days before being tossed.

Start cooking your own food. Eating out all the time will kill you and your budget.

Just up the road from Corbin theres an indy truck stop in London at exit 41. Theres a really nice steak house next door to it and a Cheddars across the street.

Greenville VA, exit 213 Pilot, park there walk about 1 mile to the German Restaraunt called Edelweiss. Decent food and cold beer.
Bath NY, exit 37 theres an indy truck stop with a decent diner open 24 hours. Soon to become a Wendys if Love's buys them out, so get it while you can.
There's all kinds of restaurants in Effingham exit 160 within walking distance of the truck stops or Wal Mart parking lot.
Fredricksburg PA, exit 6 up the road there's Ester's diner and its truck friendly.
Riceboro GA, exit 76 theres a seafood joint with truck parking right next to interstate.
