It's official. No problems. Best 99 cents I've ever spent on the truck. 20161120_104409.jpg

Shoot yeah. Now get that dang tire aired up and get going. You've got tarp loads to haul.

That is my least favorite part of the job. Never fails that every one will be a few psi short and It takes for freak all ever to air up all 18 tires.

Took me about 30 mins. Every tire was down about 5 to 8 psi. Crappy thing is with this truck is I can't idle it. International removed any bypasses for the auto shutoff. So what I have to do is on my restart when I'm ready to do it I turn on all my lights and even plug in my lunch box oven to kill the batteries so the auto start kicks on and the truck will idle for about an hour.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Only 30? My compressor must be weak. At least it certainly FEELS like a lot more than thirty minutes to my back and knees from squatting down. Don't get me wrong, i suck it up and do it, but im #####ing and moaning by the time i get past the drives.

Oh and I forgot something I figured out about a month ago. I was struggling to get tires above 100 psi. I'd have the hose on good and everything but didn't have the auto start idling the truck so I figured that was the reason. After fiddling around for over an hour I realized I should check my valve stems. Sure enough several of them were just a little loose. Tightened them up and psi went right on up. I also took all the valve stem extenders off as they seemed to be giving me problems too.

Flow through caps help a lot with time but I feel you on the knees. I've thought of bringing a rolling mechanics chair just for this job. 2016-11-20-12-15-06-1616431831.jpeg

You would not be a real driver if you did not ##### and moan the whole time
