I agree with FW. Look, 14 yrs Leo experience. Signage has to be clear and concise. If I was asked to write that ticket I wouldn't have. In my opinion "No tractor/trailer parking" means both, in combination. I would not have issued a ticket for just a tractor.
If he challenged the ticket in court, which has to be beyond a reasonable doubt I might add, in my opinion the reasonable doubt is created by the signage. If you lined up 10 people and asked them what the sign means, half would probably say both tractor and trailer, and half would say one or the other. Plenty of reasonable doubt. His bobtail was also parked in an area that wasn't causing any problems. He wasn't parked in front of the doors blocking traffic. In my opinion it's a bad ticket.

If they didn't want me in there all they would have to do is post a sign like this
The sign speaks to trucks and/or trailers.
A truck nor anything pulling a trailer is not allowed.
The sign by the walmart was this one:
Sign was specific to a "tractor trailer" -
All it takes is one person to agree, and this topic goes back to the beginning.

I'll give an example of the Walmart in Laredo has signs that's a no tractor trailer parking then they have a second sign a few feet away that says tractor parking...
