Oh he speaks English ...lately tho he seems to have lost his grasp on the word " negotiate" lol
And I don't blame you for moving a load cheap when the people that took the load don't even try to get a better rate .

Maybe they were eager going back home to their families for Thanksgiving. Whatever. The market will adjust it sooner or later. Maybe there are too many trucks. Some need to go broke for stronger to persevere. I am staying home for the whole week and would not move it for 8K even if you begged me. Don't worry on the moral side of it, if I could I would squeeze u from the last penny with a smirk on my face, unless you begged me not to.

Who said anything about $8 a mile? I just said $2.11 a mile gross paid into Florida is really low even if it came clear across the country. I would suggest you load that up on your own equipment for $5,500 as soon as possible and report back how well it worked out once you get delivered into Florida.

my nephew is a broker here in Chicagoland, he does all refer loads mostly to the southwest.
He said he has no problem booking them, more of a problem trying to understand their broken English, A lot of middle eastern o/o taking these loads for next to nothing, same as you he leaves money to haggle but no one does.

    bzinger Thanks this.

Crap for roughly three days of work, after expenses, the guy is going to make a whole bunch of nothing - quick estimate is $250 a day for that work, truck expenses are eaten up with that garbage rate.
