I think both car and semi were DB's. Unfortunately. Speeding up happens all the time. And they're always in the middle lane. I usually wait for a clearing in the right lane to make a move. BUT. Sometimes they move over to the right lane. There's no manners in semi driving anymore.

I never said what he was doing was fine. But you have no authority or right to suddenly become a highway "educator" or law enforcer. As I said, you should have moved on and given him a few choice words on the radio, at best. Would you have pulled the same stunt had law enforcement been anywhere within view? My guess is no.

Why not? 40 was minimum speed limit. If he could do 60 I could do 40.

So then...if the minimum speed limit was 40, and he was doing 60, you should have no beef with him, either. You just shot your own argument out of the water. Gotta think these things through...

Like I said, he can do 10 mph IN THE RIGHT LANE for all I care but he was in the middle lane and speed limit was 75 mph which is what I was doing.

I don't recall that you said: was this driver pacing the traffic in the slow lane, or was he outpacing them?

If that's the case, then yes, he should have moved over once he saw another truck behind him, unless no one was letting him back in, and he just finally gave up.
I'll stand on my position regarding your actions, however. Remember, we're always being watched by someone. I'm sure you don't want to earn a spot on YouTube as an "aggressive truck driver"; I know I wouldn't want to .

You did everything wrong. And it went downhill from there.

Traffic is not a place to be messing about. So what if original semi in front of you slowed you up in the center lane. Who cares what speed it is 5 or 70 or whatever, you will stay in that center lane and wait.

Everything else especially the move to the prohibited left lane made you a aggressor and caused people to do what they do. Whatever happens the moment you moved left all the way to the end of your story is no good. You should be lucky you were not nailed by a bear. It's 500 or 1000 dollars against you. That is why the center truck kept you there and your pride burned to stay in that left rather than slow down and get out of it.

If you want to be a good trucker for a long time, you need to resolve the impatience and make it go bye bye. Learn infinite patience.

Im sorry that you had a bad day and made it worse for yourself. I cannot help you if you do not learn patience.

It's very simple. The left lane prohibited trucks. Due to impatience you got in the prohibited lane and got stuck there.

Follow the laws and do what you are supposed to and this would not be happening. A few more miles an hour doesn't affect your timing anyways.
