C R England no home time, welfare pays more, will not allow drivers to go home for medication refill

A special note to all you drivers to be out there. See your doctor before you go to training and request a one year prescription for any and all maintenance drugs. Get it filled at a Walmart or other national chain pharmacy so you can get refilled it anywhere you find yourself.

If you can get a three month supply at a time DO IT!

Also, this is common sense stuff so it you already knew this move along.

I did the 90 day thing for all mine.

 

You know, it does a little.

 

When I run out of BP meds, I go to an urgent care or walk-in clinic in whatever city I happen to be. Haven't had a problem yet.

Maybe, but there have been more than a few posts staying things like this. Maybe it's the driver making poor management, but I've had a scheduled dr appt and sent messages as well as phone calls to my dispatcher as well as my load planners and i still missed my appointments. So just because you've had dispatchers or planners get you home on time, we all know that this industry likes to mess with you.

 

I got food poisoning and just used my reset for it.

 

This post makes me feel like people should read more and invest more time looking into a trucking career.
