5 digits extra in to 401k is great! Gives you more reason to stay at GFS and do a great job every year for many years to come. If you can max out your 401k every year early in life you will be a millionaire before you are 50 and can easily retire at 59.5 with double your salary. Once you get used to saving that much you really don't miss it.

From where I come from 5 digits is $10,000 and up. Either way found money is better than no money even if it is $100.00 and he is making good money for a 30 year old. I am betting Mike will be a millionaire in his mid to late 40's with or without a big yearly bonus.

I like Mike. I'm just busting on him.
I honestly hope they don't count the decimals... that'd be pretty underhanded.

    I hope not, man....
I'm just a cynic. I expect any hope I've got to be undercut. Don't let that ruin you!

    You're young!

I'll tell you this much when I first got into this a couple years ago I was pretty close to going with one of the big companies and I did call up Werner, but they didn't have refrigerated in my area, so that kind of put a stop to that.

I've heard a lot of bad about Werner, but I've also heard a lot of good about them as well and I guess with a big place like them you have to see for your self. The only thing about Werner and the big ones that turns me off is while GFS is fairly tight were not tight like Werner is we don't have Qualcom's that beep crap at us, we don't have a lot of the crap. Of course you want lose the beer companies are about as lose as it gets LOL, RL Lipton here in Cleveland still using paper printed invoices! There the kind of place you leave the yard and go around the corner they have no idea where you are or what your doing LOL, there old school.

The beer company I worked for had a real and I mean real half baked tracking system it was a manual arrive and depart system I think they since went to another system, but it was losey goosey, we had a driver there Mike was his name good guy he told me one year he covered a route in Canton, got the route done at 10pm at night, the company totally oblivious to it all they didn't care, that's just how it goes.

Let me ask you this and I honestly don't know which is why I'm asking, does Werner have anything at all bonus or safety award or millage award? I know a lot of companies are cheap, but it seems every company has some kind of thing.
