These radios are what is considered branded radios.
There are maybe a dozen radios that a manufacturer can stick a name on or make some changes that they have in their product line. and if you have a type which different manufacturers can make for you, then they will do just that, depending on demand or you order.
I bought an ICOM knockoff for $400 of a $1200 radio, friend was in China to inspect production of radios he ordered and he got offered a bunch of them. They are exact copies of the Japanese model with no exceptions because they are from the same manufacturer.
If you look at the HTs lately that have flooded the market, you will see the same thing.
So no schematic?
Don't expect one.
By the way, as a 10 meter rig, the FCC does little about type acceptance, as a CB they are stringent. The real issue is why would someone want a crappy fake 10 meter rig.bored silly Thanks this. -
Only if someone knows a technician capable of overcoming the limitations of the crappy 10 meter rigs would I ever recommend one to a driver.
For the majority of people I would strictly recommend purchasing an FCC type accepted CB radio or getting their ham ticket and getting a higher end ham rig.
There are some of us that get enjoyment from using these cheaply built Chinese knock-offs and getting Superior results in performance to those using much higher end equipment.
Unfortunately for that to happen you need to be good at doing your own antenna work and you have to know a very good technician. -
