It's going by rail now, they've build enormous marshalling yards in China for this purpose. The new silk route.

Because your roads aren't big enough.

And that applies to the rest of the world too?

More energy spent for recycling. I agree with recycling, but not before it is necessary.

Well, Australia's roads are big enough and what do they drive?
As for Asia, I suspect many of their roads are restrictive as well. Central America uses our trucks. Shall we list every country?

Yep. That's why PACCAR builds Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF. All they know is long hoods and chrome. Same with Daimler Group. They manufacture Western Star, Freightliner, Sterling (discontinued) and Mercedes. Your point is completely invalid.

I've read something about manual gearboxes, but I think we both agree that the trend is to use automatic gearboxes, in whatever type. Designing an automatic is something else, and to me that Traxon modular concept is brilliant.

Apparently you didn't read the part about the 70 year old designs? And under the hood of those old fashioned looking NA trucks is more and more modern European technology.

Another crazy Euro truck, a Tatra 16 x 8 with 1100HP. Don't know what it is used for, but apparently some kind of device has to be build on the frame.

Notice that the spine frame is completely rigid, it will not bend or twist.

70 year old designs? What the hell are you taking about? A new pete today isn't the same as a 10 year old pete, let alone a 70 year old pete.

    sdaniel and Oxbow Thank this.
