Good for your Dad, that's a GREAT work ethic. I know it's possible, I earn 4-450/day. But I work to death to get it, which I'm good with, I like the work!

    What does ADP stand for?

So they pay for each activity......What about this "unscheduled time"?

If you make that now, I'd compare the amount of physical work you may or may not do now to WM. No touch freight? 100% legal logs? Over here its so easy I get upset If the landing gear takes more than two fingers.

If your current job is like that and people health insurance and benefits/job security are great I'd prob stay where you're at. Unless you have absolutely 0 HT. You gonna have your days off here for sure at HOME

ive heard different things regarding what I'm about to ask so everyone fire away. On your departure day are you suppose to log on duty while you are setting up your truck. What I mean is putting your clothes in the truck. Hooking up your xm radio basically your personal items. Where I worked at before we didn't start our clock until we received our paperwork for the start of the trip

If you add your mileage pay, activity pay, and layover pay together, you'll average much higher per mile than .61 cpm.

Safety will tell you to log on first, then start loading. If you slip off a step and hurt yourself, you will be covered for being "on duty" while having an accident. It's all about doing things the right way. Also on duty when you wash your truck as well.
