Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

it takes some time, i dont remember too many trucks in last 30years that did not had central lubrication,most trucks here are on ALC, MB dont have lubrication, except front end 4 points and 5th wheel, since there is no ALC as on other trucks, PTFE 5th wheels are not particularly popular here specially if truck is not matched with trailer

 

3rd part manufacturers would be even more pushed out, no matter how good or bad is their product,

in near future scania would get MAN transfer cases , because they must use inhouse components, no matter that ZF ones are much better

 

hm from my US visits i did not get such impression, this can mean two things: that there is a lot of old classic trucks or your ratio 250:1 is too big

 

dont think, there is bit market for COE, but not too much to change things. coe could change daycab trucks, car carriers could get coe and few of other type of trucks.

all of my writing here is about technology under hood, for me it is unthinkable to see truck without 6ch EBS, ECAS, and other things, we have trucks with active suspension ( not in numbers i would like to see)

 

I would like central luberication on my kw ...... Just replace the greese canister !
