I was just wondering about him this morning. Haven't heard anything though. But, I do know he's having a blast.

BIKER!
If you don't report in soon, we're gonna come lookin' for you.
cat 500 and woodstock36 Thank this. -
Yes we are. We know you're busy, but we wanta hear from you. -
He said he wouldn't have a computer with him while out with the trainer and that he would only be able to check in during his training time if he found someone with a computer who would let him use it while at a terminal.
I wouldn't expect to hear from him much in the next few weeks. -
Experienced driver's have always told me to NEVER SIGN A LEASE with ANY company until you have experience under your belt !!!
(That is like asking a kid to read a book and then perform brain surgery !).
I have talked to a couple of company driver's from CRE---one who was going through some Major life events--and they are comfortable with CRE. One guy left after one year, changed to another company for a couple of months, then returned to CRE. Both of them said they will stick with CRE for a few more years. -
(That's like reading a book on how to succeed at failure, and following the directions.)
And we're hoping Biker will be able to report a success story.

Sorry for the delay folks.. Been a rather busy and hectic month, but I can report that the company is NOT the evil Satan and as I've stated in the past, the nay sayers are usually those that want to run things their way and not the company way.
Soooooooooooo... What's been going on? Finished my 15,000 miles with a trainer (actually stuck with him another couple of weeks so he could go on vacation without tagging another trainee before he left). So I actually had over 25,000 miles when I got off the truck. Just got back from South Carolina this morning and the 1st seat had to take his truck back into the shop before the warranty runs out. Aw well. Would have liked to turn around for another long run, but I can use the reset and time to take care of a bit of business.
One of the things I've noticed is those that are happy with the company follow the company rules and run legal. Those that like to play "Super Trucker" and do things THEIR way are those that are always saying F this and F that. Know what? From what I've seen so far, this is a decent company to work for as long as you keep in mind that you DO work for the company.
It's been a fun trip so far, and I expect good things. Will report back as soon as I'm done with the trainee thing and get my own truck. No, I'm not going to lease. As nice as they make the numbers look, I know I have a lot to learn yet and will do so on the company dime, rather than my dime. Hopefully will have my truck be mid month next month.
