Everyone locks themself out at some point. Always have a spare key on you.
As for it being ruled an accident I would fight that. Ridiculous IMO.
Locked out truck. Broke window. Charged with accident. Hurts in long run?

Get a spare key (the flat all metal kind), stick it in your wallet. Lesson learned!
QuietStorm and RollingRecaps Thank this. -
. Locked myself out at the fuel island once. Luckily I got in through the wing window with some wire. Now I keep a key hidden under the hood.
I would have called a lock Smith to get me in before I would have broken the window. Could you have used guard shack phone to call dispatch and see if another company driver was close with the same key? Just throwing stuff out there for the new guys that might get in this position. Maybe tell safety you will pay for the window if it stays off your record and dac. -
Hmm I wondered how that happened. Sorry about your luck.

you care to share what company ?

If you give a man a gun he can rob a bank. But if you give a man a bank he can rob an entire country.
I wish more people were aware of your quote. -

Our road breakdown is pretty shoddy off hours but they get things done when you get them on the phone.
