    That's how I've seen it done plenty of time with a crane. They're only lifting it a couple of inches to "swing" it over.

    I was hoping someone wasn't so much of a knucklehead to unload that stuff like that. People have done dumber things.

    NO, that's the way a lot of people do it. That's the same way we separate sheet piling to fly it.

    Oh that's a shake out, technically your not allowed to pick with a shake out hook only "shake out" piling and such.

    Yep has to have a safety latch or other means of preventing the load becoming free.
