I was looking into finding a sponsor. I've been trying to get on with some of the large mining equipment companies up here that operate internationally, so a guy could eventually transfer out of the country.

. The property tax is already insane! my townhouse went up 200% since 2014, the first company I got laid off from in 2015 (i've been laid off 3 times in 2 years), my career dream job, their prop tax went up 400%. It just didn't make sense to try anymore, so they shut down and moved to Texas.
I heard there is a big push in Australia, to start letting in migrants, refugees and express entry immigrants. I know one of the big Australian youtube vloggers I used to watch, was trying to talk everyone into it, and shame anyone who was against it. Any word on that?Last edited: Dec 18, 2016
AModelCat Thanks this. -
I doubt it, Australia is smart enough to watch how these programs are ruining other countries and running trades and businesses into the ground. The only people that can come here for work on a visa without a sponsor have to be under 30, and even then they're only picking fruit
AModelCat and BigHossVolvo Thank this. -
WTF are you talking about, "open border policy"
The USA has about 20 million illegals, try and get into Canada. lol -

I was in Brampton, ON making a delivery last week (I am US driver). I was doing my paperwork when a young foreign driver came to me asking if I could help him unhook his trailer. I said sure and looked everything over. It turned out he had an air release 5th wheel that the driver didn't know to operate. But we all need to learn, but hooking/unhooking is one of the 1st things you learn.
I am looking/have been looking for a Canadian carrier that is involed with the TFW prorgram. I have 40 years experience running all 48 states, as well as Canada from the Maritimes to Edmonton (I even made a tanker delivery to Manic Cinq), with a great safety record and on-time deliveries.
Can anyone recommend a Canadian company under the TFW? I don't work cheap or drive unsafely. Plus I fit in with the Canadian culture (I actually enjoy winter and can handle Quebec shipments).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. -
If you don't work cheap or drive unsafely then sorry you do not meet the requirements ......
Haha jk.BigHossVolvo, Runawayscreaming and not4hire Thank this. -
I truly love Canada and going there and would enjoy living there. -
However, I don't think Americans qualify for the TFW program. -
