There are states that only care about gross?

Within reason. Nc doesn't really doesn't say much as long as you are under you gross permit wgt.

I guess if you rolled in with 60 grand on a tandem they would prob have something to say about that. So I guess we shouldn't say they don't care.

Didn't know that, I don't think I've ever hauled a load that small down there so I've probably never seen that size permit.

Anything over 132 is a super load there. I do my best to stay under super load status. I don't know enough of the regs to confidently price them.

Figured I'd do more harm then good, pricing something I don't know enuff about. Plus my trailer won't take anymore wgt than that.

The only permit loads I hauled from NC where a 777 manitowoc and an 880 grove both well over 132,000. I've been there with legal loads plenty.

Yeah, I've done a bunch of loads outta NC over 132k. You must provide axle & gross weights when ordering, and you have to be at or under your permitted axle weights.
Anything over 150k requires a pilot regardless of dimension.

How fast are they at getting your super load permits back?
