    You have no idea what you're talking about. Just taking cheap shots where ever you can. Can't get qualified to get away from being a company slave yourself or what's your problem?

    You claim you're doing just fine yet you can't help yourself coming in here to take unnecessary cheap shots. I'm not buying it.

    Likewise. Dude is full of crap. Probably leased @ Stevens Transport and thinks he knows everything about trucking.

    Idk. Maybe. Maybe not. I try not to get to tied up in job titles.
    Here's what you should do. Start your own thread about running under your own numbers. That way
    "Glorified company drivers" can join in and post nonsense about something they don't know anything about.
    Sound familiar?;)

    I love how all of these know it alls come into this thread and attack l/p drivers. They have absolutely no clue what they're talking about yet they present themselves like they're some kind of expert on the issue.

    @stevep1977 ....they are called trolls...

    By the way, I always welcome criticism, but at least make it add value.

    Most troll don't add value. When challenged, they turn either to vitriol, demean, or claim "haterade".

    Sometimes, they lash out, but mostly, they just go back into the holes they crawled out of

    Brother, I don't know what your issue is........never could understand why folks just jump in and spout their uneducated, inexperienced (with SNI Choice) opinions on something they've never done. But, I guess there's one in every crowd......seems like a waste of time and effort. Nevertheless, the $800 I spoke of was a trip to Charlotte NC and back. Left out Monday morning, was back home late Tuesday afternoon. I will leave out again Tuesday morning. That $800 is after fuel, taxes and insurance.....it's what I will put in my bank account. and honestly, for me anyway, it's about average for what I wold typically earn.....about $400 a day after expenses. Other fellas do a lot better, some do not as well, but for me, it works. But on the other hand, I do not own, nor do I know how to use snow chains. I do not have NY stickers on my truck and I have not seen the GW bridge in over 2 years. And, here's the kicker........wanna know why I haven't done any of that stuff? Because it's my CHOICE.......cool play on words, huh?
    So, there ya go. Rickey, I did watch the video and I do not dispute a word the man said. The only thing I would say is, many people come to the program with a company driver mentality and they don't understand that their success or failure is completely on them.......it can be a steep hill to climb and sometimes they're too deep in a bad hole before they figure it out; if they ever do.
    But, honestly (this is for the people thinking about going on the Choice program), I'm with Sadwar......I'd think long and hard before I did.

    Good luck and Merry Christmas!

    A lot of co drivers think that this program is easy..just point click and roll...there's a lot of planning involved in this program...basically it boils down to this for the most part...everything they do in the office for you as a company driver with load planning etc is now on your shoulders...that's one facet of it...
