Hello all
Hey, I was wondering, if you were unfortunate enough to be out on the road, under a load, in a shop for repairs or sitting in a truckstop or hotel awaiting a load (like I am still doing,) has your company, employee, boss, etc. offer to buy your Christmas meal or compensate you in any way over and above normal pay?
Just asking.
Just out of curiosity, if you were on the road for Christmas...

Now, (12/27), I am still looking for something to load. At this writing there was a possible load headed for, of all places, San Jose, again, in the opposite direction.Last edited: Dec 27, 2016

Yes, I cannot believe I am still here. it's Tuesday and I have not heard anything. This reminds me of my earlier experience back in the early 80s when we used to sit on hold literally for hours in some phone booth waiting for dispatch to tell us there were no loads and to find a truckstop for the next 3-day weekend...with no pay. I cannot believe I am finding myself right back here in the same situation after all these years.fargonaz Thanks this. -
