So, Volvo's have that "rolley polley" feeling in turns? I have an '06 KW T2000. The shocks and air bags for the cab are very close to the center of the truck. I'm going to install a new leveling valve and some BEEFY shocks to replace the worn out POS tiny original shocks. I'll let you know if that improves the feel on cornering and driving washboard dirt roads.

I was surprised at the low rating of the original shocks on my truck. When I get a chance I will post more information and take pictures of original and the new shocks when the weather gets better and I make the swap. The diameter of the new shocks seem to be about 50% larger than the originals. Hopefully this will resolve the feeling of rolling and the cab dancing on dirt roads (or I-35E from Dallas to Denton).

Might be a good idea to post that in the KW section off the garage so KW owners can find it easely.

We back into tighter spots than most guys hauling freight do. You try getting into some of these theatre's that are mostly downtown in the heart of the city, and were designed back in the 20's
Or some arenas where you manouver between dumpster, poles and all the other crap they put in the way.

Car dealers are no picnic either, sir. All it takes is one idiot parked in the wrong place to create a serious problem.

I just had a rental truck last week I had to go into British Columbia where my tractor is too long.
    I got a 200k mIle POS Freightliner.
Didn't like Freightliner before, like them even less now after driving that garbage. Couldn't hear yourself think in it, you had to be double jointed just to adjust steering wheel position.
Nothing is designed to make the drivers life easier..
Biggest POS I've drove in years.

I like Volvo, really comfortable to drive and set up for comfort..Love the i shift, by far the best auto I've ever drove.. should be against the law tho these mpg chasing companies disabling the manual mode .. adds to the iffy factor in bad conditions.

    86scotty and KB3MMX Thank this.
