@MikesTrucking
I've been watching your posts...and I kinda feel sorry for you (in a good way)....
You seem to have taken a REAL DIVE into the deep end....and them sharks gonna eat you alive, bruh
You need to link up with an experienced O/O who will show you the in's & out's.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I dont have a truck yet...so you can disregard my post if you wish.Lepton1 and MikesTrucking Thank this. -

When they offer you the ld . and if they got it from a ld broker they will have a rate confirmation sheet showing the amount they agreed to haul that ld for
Ask them to send you a copy of the sheet. It will have the figure on it. Then take your percentage off that number
Then you know what the ld will pay you.
Minus any Od.permit costs if an oversize ld.
Then if a direct customer ask them to include a copy of the billing invoice for that ld. Then you can compare the numbers.
You must be fairly new to this I take it...MikesTrucking and 4mer trucker Thank this. -
i mean yeah.. but like settlement i wan make sure they real .... and then when i get loads i wanna make sure they aint takin no points? is that legal for CO to make a new rate to tell me?
-
I sometimes work for a couple diffrent company's that pay me hourly or tonnage pay I always get a copy of pay rate agreement with my settlement. If you don't you should or find another company to work with. If a company says they cant give you one it is because they are lazy or they are cheating you.
nax and MikesTrucking Thank this. -
yeah it crazy bruh whats the best way to check the rate if u dint get it tho?
-
There is really no way to find out unless you start calling people that shipped/received it or brokered it. Then you would be getting to many people involved and deep in company business and may loose customers.
If you think you are getting shorted on pay then talk with the owner if that goes no where talk with a legal eagle and find a new companyramblingman and MikesTrucking Thank this.
