I am not very good at math. However, I do not think 14 cents is half of 25 cents. I could be wrong cause I was wrong once a long time ago!

I said 14 because the guys I talked to at loves while fixing there tires told me they each make 14 cents per mile.

Hope it works out for you Sassy. We all gotta start somewhere. And honestly, we hear a lot of bad things about CRST, Swift, CR England etc but they have people working for them so it can't be all bad. And now that you've told everyone it's the last company you tried and got accepted to, well it sounds like your choices were pretty slim to begin with. That makes a huge difference.
People love to talk about anecdotal evidence as if it were empirical evidence. "I know this guy who said..."
If you're good with it, that's all that matters. Besides, it's not a lifetime contract. Do your time, pay off your CDL with the contract and if you're happy, continue. If not, move on when it's honored.
