Was gonna say the same. That was a recent change and liquid totes require tanker endorsement even on a van.

Dear Lord, or current occupant:
Please spare me from truck drivers who seem to forget they have a gas pedal right up until the time I try to pass them.
Hate hate hate hate hate.
Love,
EUMovin On, MidWest_MacDaddy and 48Packard Thank this. -
Well, truck loaded yesterday... one 28' Pup loaded nose to tail... house fully cleaned back to front today... waiting on one package from FedEx arriving today then off to SC for a couple nights visiting her family over the weekend... then off to South Florida on Saturday or Sunday.
Good bye North Carolina... we will be returning one day for that Cabin in the Hills to enjoy retirement. -
48Packard Thanks this.

Actually, just moving back into our house in Boynton Beach... it's been an interesting month... going from planning on having my wife hop in the truck for two weeks coming up in January before giving her two week notice to get her own CDL and drive with me to moving back into our house in Boynton Beach and her heading back to their Worldwide Corporate Headquarters ... whoosh... it's still a blur.
Everything in 1 28' Pup and 2 Compact Cars rolling South on I95... fun fun fun ... unloading late next week... if anyone has plans for taking their 34 in South Florida swing by and help haul boxes into the house/garage... LOL -
I am in Miami at the present time, but am not taking a 34. We will pretend that my lack of a 34 is the only thing keeping me from helping you move.
Speaking of Miami, I am in this tiny, sketchy little truck stop off 826, right next to a Wal-Mart in Hialeah Gardens.
The satellite view is misleading. Most of the trucks in the satellite view are part of some 20-truck mom-and-pop trucking company that is sharing the lot with some diesel pumps and a little shack with chips and soda for sale. Only about 20% of the lot is "truck stop open to the public".
I wound up staring down a dead end, and had to back up around the curve at the bottom of the pic, right in front of the auto glass place. After some maneuvering and the help of an Italian truck driver named Nat who works for the company located here, I got turned around via a 3-point turn and got backed up in the dirt along the road in front of the auto glass shop. Nat says it's cool to park here overnight.
He was a peach of a fellow. Showed me around their tiny little yard, which features a Cuban restaurant right there (it was closed, though). And then he got me through the gate so I could visit the Wal-Mart for some shopping.
And that's where I'm sitting until morning, when I get a live load to take back to the yard in Richmond.MidWest_MacDaddy and Redtwin Thank this. -
I've been there before but only to scale, glad I didn't have to overnight there. Still count yourself lucky you even found a place to park. I loaded just a few miles south of there at a produce warehouse and there were trucks parked in the yellow center turn lane. I mean shut down, curtain closed parked in the middle of a 4 lane road.
Hialeah is nothing to mess with.MidWest_MacDaddy and ExtremeUnction Thank this. -
I will text you tomorrow M.D.!! Be safe.
