    Yeah NY puts every cop they can find at the rest area inspection sites, they probably have library cops in there too. DEC police were the ones that warned us.

    Not sure which model of turbo we have but it's not an OE unit.

    Wore out-
    How much NY do you run? I only run upstate, no NYC. They usually don't have anything going on up on the thruway save for an occasional DOT van fishing at toll booths. I86/NY17, I81, I490 and I390 are where you will see them set up in the rest areas with nothing but a fold out sign to clue you in.

    I just started running up to Rochester, empty out and reload in Buffalo. It's a weekly deal though I won't be back on it till first of February.

    Same symptom. Different engine. A local shop rebuilt a 400 Cummins. Smoked at an idle. Went away going down the road. Mechanic damaged a piston cooling nozzle.
