Today is a day of days, a celebration of the American Spirit of actually working for yourself and taking Life in with both hands and gumption.
You are Free. No more a whipped and abused company man. You ARE a Company now.
Someday you will have a thousand trucks and several generations of your future family will find themselves secure in what you have built for them.
I get so sick and tired of whiney 15 dollar an hour folks who wont work. But people such as yourself with a righteous story to tell and actually living the dream, have at it with everything you got.
The rest of us will get motivated, then want it for themselves too. It's really scary. But you are alive and feel that along with everything else too.
I bought a truck once in life and felt a little bit of what you had yourself today. I never forgot it. But I do not have any regrets. You have to go forward in life and do your very best. Otherwise why are we even here?
Im pretty sure there are friends here online at TTR that will put you under a load and know that you will do it right.
Good luck to you. Keep us posted. We can only learn from you by example. Mistakes too.
Finally got my own truck

NOW your responsibilities start, your headaches will be getting worse and you may lose some sleep over decisions you make, maybe even regretting the move.
You will know what a *****y customer is really like, how you will be told off at times and have to take it and on your worst day, you can't quit and go find another job because there isn't any other job.
BUT if you learn how to do it right, the stress is eventually going to be a lot less, the money a lot more in time and after you pay everything off and then purchase new stuff to keep the taxes in check, you will may be happy.okjo21821, BoyWander, Road Killer and 4 others Thank this. -

You will do just fine, you have done something a lot of failures didn't do. "Research and Planning" it will pay off. Unlike people who come on here asking "I bought a truck now what do I do"
Good Luck in your new venture. I look forward to reading about your success.NStan, Bfr38, Road Killer and 7 others Thank this. -
Godspeed, Boy Wander.

Hurry and pay that truck off as fast as you can...the wisdom of this will become apparent the day after you make the last payment. Now is the time to do this while you don't have other responsibilities in life. Enjoy your new truck and have a good time with it...this will be a time to remember in your life.
