Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

If the local job is a state job with good benefits such as 401k etc, I would take that one. If its a contractor then if they lose the contract then you could be out of a job in which case I would go for the regional bulk job.
Even if that job came to an end for whatever reason, you would have some tank/"otr" experience under your belt which would get you into another job faster. -

Local job weather permitting? Might be something to factor
Danch Thanks this. -
It's through some staffing agency and I'm unsure if it's temp to hire. I need to ask that because thats another consideration.
-
####, yea thats a good point defnitely something to factor. Thats why I love this board lol

Local and hourly pay is what Id take, unless you want to get "run ragged" and be a free "grunt unloader".JMOToomanybikes Thanks this.

I didn't even see that post, definitely sound advice. Yea if it has the possibility of becoming a state job I'll definitely take it.
-
So what are you doing now, and why are you looking to leave?
-
It's very hard to find reviews of the regional company but by the looks of the few I've found seems to be a "good company" to drive for. They said 2-3 days out then back to load up and get the next assignement. Take your 34hr reset at home ect.
