Have the alignment checked by a reputable shop, preferrably a MD Alingment location. MD is from Des Moines IA, look them up and ask abput a local affiliated shop. New vehicles are almost NEVER aligned properly at the factory. Do it before you start a bad wear pattern on those new tires. Get a full 3 axle alignment.

^^^^^^ what he says about alignment. Trucks and trailers are never aligned perfectly from the factory. They are "put to spec" quickly and with haste to keep that production line moving along. You don't stop a production line to dial that in. My new trailer from Great Dane a few years ago dog leg tracked to the right from the moment I picked it up off the factory grounds where I picked it up. Some people of course do get lucky but alignment is not done at the factory and they will tell you that it's considered "dealer prep" before a dealer delivers that equipment to you the customer. For about $300+/- I would get that alignment dialed in on such an investment.....

I asked the shop manager at lone mountain about an alignment. He said they don't have the equipment for it. The piece of paper was in the pouch with the driver manual. I'm not exactly sure what all of it means exactly.Road Killer and SavageSam Thank this. -
Beautiful truck! Good luck with your venture, you have the right attitude and will do well!
Road Killer Thanks this. -

Well I have an appointment Friday at 1pm to take a tour of the Webasto plant in Fenton, MI where I live. They make most of the bunk heaters at this place. Some are made in Germany and some at this plant.
If anyone has driven up toward Flint on US23, the plant is on the west side of 23 right at x80.
I emailed them up and surprisingly they emailed back a bit later and offered me a tour of the place! So yeah it's going to be pretty neat. I doubt they're gonna give me a heater or anything but it's still pretty neat to be able to check them out first hand.
I'm leaving out Sunday to go to Chicago and pick up a trailer then ready for my first load Monday.Road Killer, Oxbow, SavageSam and 3 others Thank this.
