with some snow about to fall in the southeast, let's give some winter driving tips.

My tip: keep your following distance.

In a region where the locals aren't particularly accustomed to winter driving, my advice is to be somewhere else!

Slow down. But not so slow as to impede traffic.

    Keep lots of following distance.

Do NOT drive down the road with your 4 ways flashing. It's annoying and unsafe

    Relax and enjoy.

Snow? Southeast? Just stay home. You all have a hard enough time with just rain. Just sayin'.

Oh yeah! One of my biggest pet peeves. 4 ways should be used as a warning that you are not going the speed of traffic. If everybody is going slow, what is one trying to say by having them on?

LOL !! It was Huntsville, AL that I had in mind when I posted that. Years ago, they had about 2 inches of wet snow and it was total chaos !

Unfortunately some don't have that luxury. These power plants we haul in to don't shut down for snow

1/2 inch and they go crazy, shutting down towns and schools for days. Try that in the NE and you'd be laughed outta town. My school bus was right behind the snowplow in the morning. Get on, we're rolling!!!
