Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

I wouldn't like to drive that thing on a wet or otherwise slippery road. Getting it around a corner will be very difficult.

We don't see that many locomotives of the Canadian Pacific Railways over here, don't know why.

As you know, I always like to please Mr. Daniel, so here's the Siemens Eurosprinter:

As you can see it is an electric locomotive, because all main lines in Europe are electrified. May not look very impressive, but it does have 8500 HP.

That truck got rigged up as a self loading logging truck. Mostly off highway. There are pictures of it loaded up with logs on Hank's Truck Forum.

Look what happens when this thing takes a corner. The tires of the first two rear axles will slide inwards, and the tires of the last two rear axles will slide outwards. That takes a lot of force to do, and that force has got to come from the front axle. NA trucks have a low load on the front axle, that doesn't help. In my view this is a rather dangerous contraption.

A European truck would most likely have had two front axles, both with more load on them then with NA trucks, and three rear axles. The wheels of the middle of the three rear axles doesn't have to slide, so only the wheels of the other two rear axles have to slide. A much better construction.

All of our trains are electric too. Smallest locomotive is 4500 hp

By the way, your trains are ugly too..
