Watkins is definitely the way to go. No riding in the truck with a trainer. The training is done during the day and you go back to your hotel room at the end of the day. 8-5 Monday-Friday for 2 weeks and you are done. They will give you extra time if they think you need it or if you ask for it.
I been at Watkins going on 14 months now and I love it here as of now. But if I decide to leave I got my year so I can go about anywhere I want to and didn't have to ride one day with a trainer. Can't beat it.
I'm going to school for Crst in Iowa. Need advice and info.

Certainly seems like a great alternative to being stuck with a trainer who may not be the right fit for him or her.
What facility did you end up training at for Watkins? -
I trained in conover, NC and I'm out of the myrtle, ms terminal. But they do training in Missoula, MT also. And they have done new drivers orientation in Myrtle. Done one a few weeks back and had a guy come in from MT to do it. But conover and Missoula are the main 2 they train at as far as I know.
