Look at the clip again, there are no windows or seats. You are imagining things.

You need to remember that the Europeans on only allowed 16.5 Metres (54'5") Overall length.hence the universal use of COE Trucks..

Exactly. However there is a tendency to allow longer (25.5 metres / 83'8") and heavier (from 40,000 kg / 88,184 lbs to 60,000 kg / 132,277 lbs) on highways and certain other designated roads. Certain European countries already have this in place.

This is the kind of diesel locomotive Bombardier builds in Germany these days:

    Baureihe_245.JPG

They have left the concept of putting in one big medium speed diesel, and are using four small diesel engines instead. When the locomitive pulls away from a station, all four engines are used. But when the train is on speed, they can switch off two engines. This way they save almost 9% diesel. Furthermore, the engines are cheaper, easier to maintain or replace, and when newer, cleaner, more efficient engines are available, they can replace them by a completely new set of engines. A great concept.

We used to have length laws . But notching the bunk? The markets evolved down different paths. EU guys insisting on everyone else doing things their way is silly. Our last cab over , had a stair case that swing out to ease getting in and out(mid 90s). My day cab has a swivel seat... The retarder is about to only thing that may be useful. But newest Jake Brake are far better , so even their retarder may not be an improvement . Need to ask how the one in the test truck I posted a pic of preformed .

No point in that here. Our trains are long, heavy and negotiate mountains. Seeing even just 2 locomotives on 1 train is a rarity. Usually 3 to as much as 5 or 6. I believe they can power down the un-needed locomotives and power them up when they need braking or dynamics.

it is not hard to make flat floor, you simply need to raise your floor to make it flat with engine tunnel , but question is how high would be your entrance? some pages before i have been talking about k108 with its entry height and engine tunnel

in case of our flat floor trucks entrance is at about 5ft 3inch , some brands higher some lower, how high was entrance of N/A flat floor trucks?

personally i dont like flat floor, you need to step out to middle of cab maybe 2-3 times per day, but enter truck lets say 4-5 times. so if you ask me , give me low tunnel and lower entrance, also this keep cab cleaner and lower cab allows more storage under bed on sides, more storage above windshield, only less storage in fridge, i can hear many of scania fans they want r topline like on previous range.

blower hose, i dont remember but more or less every scania have this for ages, cant remember if 0/1 series had this but 2series from 1980 had this as serial equipment , it was fitted on dashboard right part of center console just above compartment , i find this thing useless it just replace dust

if we are talking by this way, tell me how many of items showed on video you dont have in USA trucks?

Scania had them too since 1995, this is lower P cab version, higher R cab have its upper step( 3rd one) moved inside , this was optional and not every one had them

well this is not innovation if we go trough history that thing existed many many years ago, but it is first time scania offer it on large scale production. this guy is not professional truck driver you can see lot of cars on his channel so this is why he is so exciting about different options, most of these things are standard on trucks for years.... also he put lot of mistakes while explaining this, for example he says air condition ( cooler below left rear corner of cab where before was oil cooler on early 164-580, this is parking AC

as for cab concepts, renault is always one who is forcing their own things, they were always trying to make something different,

most of their trucks are looking like this, alwqays some tables, always turn seat, volvo have turn seat on fh range

often bunk that can split something like USA volvos ( in europe volvo have tried this in past but i think no longer in production, iveco tried same, in early 2000s iveco offered several versions of cab interior, with or without passenger seat, with half seat, splittable bed...

scania had its own concept where you could raise lower bed and move seats to back , center console is with fridge and can make nice table in front of passenger, upper bed was above windshield....but most of this cab concepts are not really practical
