I think that rod is threaded, so a few turns or so.

I noticed that.. the cab squeaks a lot and feels like it sways especially on turns so I'm guessing the rear shocks are on there way out.. looking into new shocks this weekend

I recently replaced all 4 tires on the rear axel of my cab (new tires not recap) I still have 4 recap on the front rear axel the truck still likes to ride a little rough and drift while at highway speeds could this be from recap tires mixed with new tires? I don't know when the last time shocks were replaced I'm sure they haven't ever been touched could bad springs cause the truck to not drive straight and ride weird and rough

I find many drivers do not install the proper tire for their application. Many guys install tires with tread lugs that are too aggressive and will cause a weird feeling. The lug basically flexes or wiggles and can cause drifting. So it depends on what you installed. As for recaps, in my opinion, recaps are only good for dump trucks or garbage trucks. They are not meant for the highway. I see over and over recaps that simply are not round and cause a little hop as they rotate to induce chassis shakes.

The shocks are def do for replacement but it's so hard to pin point where it's coming from bc it only happens at about 55mph feels like the steering just starts to slip and the road is pulling the cab all over also the steering column makes a weird noise while turning like a dry rubbing squeaking noise as well

I started getting a shake and I'm gonna have my tires looked at. I'm seriously considering trying Centramatics on the whole tractor

Many people believe in them. I personally do not. First and foremost, the tire must spin round and true. If it has a wobble or egg shaped, it will always cause a shake or shimmy. Even brand new tires if installed improperly or not quite centered/square will cause this. Out of balanced tires are defective tires, period. Centramatics are only good for a few ounces. You really can't feel that. Any more than about 6 ounces and the tire is defective or low quality and should be replaced.
