Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

If there was any potential cost effective benefit the big fleets would be buying them. They don't care about the looks.

Funny story about not caring what a truck looks like. This guy i know pretty well was looking to buy a brand new truck. He owned a 91 379 with a 3406b. He sold it for 35 and ordered a columbia. This was back in 02 right before egrs was about to be forced on us so buying new was a good decision. But a columbia?! Ugh.

 

I could see myself driving one of these. Needs some shine but yeah I think it'd dress up nice.

 

Im betting that guy was really angry at the driver. And chrome.

 

At first glance that daf strongly resembles an old mack.

 

Almost like a Mack did it with a WhiteGMC was my thought lol.

 

The only gmc i ever owned was a cabover. I almost bought a 94 white, but by then it was owned by volvo. I think it was a 94 anyway...top many years ago to remember exactly. I got enough trouble remembering the tricks i did own, let alone ones i was planning on buying.
