I work in conditions that can track a LOT of mud into the cab. For that reason I hate carpeting of any kind. I covered the sleeper berth carpet all the way up to the front of the seats with about 1/2" thick rubber mat. I bought one of those rubber workplace mats at Home Depot and cut it to shape. It adds insulation and noise deadening, cleans easily, and feels good under stocking feet.
For cleaning the cab get an air gun, sold at any truck stop. Install it on the air line for your seat. Mine has a long coiled hose, so I can reach anywhere in the cab. Before using it on a nice day, after mud has dried, I sweep up most of what I can. Then I open both doors and go to work with the air gun. After that some auto detailing wipes to clean everything thoroughly, or Simple Green and shop towels.
Finish with a few shots of California Scents Orange Squeeze and a breath mint. Life is good.

The driver of the most immaculate truck I've ever seen - and it was a crude oil truck - used Pledge furniture polish to clean his floors. So that's what I use, too.

You may just have to notch it around the pedals.

I heard a good report on Awesome. It is a cleaner that you can buy at Wal-Mart. Suppose to be good.
