Day 2 was very boring. But had to get through it. A lot of paper work! Going to the dmv tomorrow for our license . Wish me luck!

Great! Make sure you study before coming. If you pass all your test you're able to hit the range quicker

So far the class has been on freightliners. It's a great company! I believe you'll like it. In the mean time study general knowledge, air breaks, combination, and tankers

They are going through a class action lawsuit right now too for screwing drivers. Everyone starts somewhere, and it is all the same no matter who you start with. Best advice, don't lease, let the company come out of pocket for everything. Your options are limited, so best stick it out at the same company at least a year, preferably two. Find on your own, a good company career that is going to allow you to make money, offer benefits, and work towards retirement. You don't want to be the driver out here for twenty five years thinking experience counts for being some facet of good advice. I've seen some old timers still do stupid things out here too. Be responsible and don't let companies scare you out of being a good driver, but yet respect the equipment you drive. Enjoy what you do and if you do that, you will never work a day in your life. Stay away from the conversationalists and the whiners sitting in the terminals, picnic tables, and truck stops. Starting out is never a breeze, but we all did at one time or another. But never stop learning and perfecting your skill. Stick by it, and eventually it will pay off, if you are smart and set goals.

Thats my two options. I understand kllm may not be the best company out there. I don't exactly like the truck set up but right now getting trained and getting my cdl is most important. If i can get paid while training then all the better
