This what makes TTR. Sharing knowledge, they didn't have a problem, explaining why they left SNI. Like I said before, they have not said one sentence about LS.

I really can't see how Landstar or Schneider rates can differ by that much. -
% is a recruiting tool.
We all pull for the highest rate per mile we can get.

If you're more noticeable in the personality department, if the broker thinks you stand out in some way on the phone, if you're able dazzle and impress with your dynamic interaction with these brokers that hear hundreds of drivers a day, you might just jump forward in the mind of a broker that has an extra special profitable load just for you?
Face it, performance in this job is showing up on time and not being a dick to the customer. 90% achievement rate for even steering wheel holders. What makes you SPECIAL.
I only say this based on seeing people complain about having to from "relationships" with brokers. Brokers are like strippers, they've seen it all, and you really have to be extra special to see the special room. /smirk
Honestly, I don't know anything about it first hand, but it reminds me of any sort of situation where you have to be salesman on some level. I hate sales, I just want to work and make money without the sweet talk. -

I used to work for LS now I'm back to driving a company truck and making way more money. Good luck to anyone going to LS I will say LS does have a pretty cool boat cruise you get for 10 years of safe driving as a safety reward.
Wait till people learn that all them LS loads you see on the load board. A good number of them are not even real loads. Lots of times the LS agent has to call the shipper back to see if the load is still available. Because unlike SNI, LS can't commit to a load without a truck. So the agents just post loads.
