It's like talking to my 2 yo dont bother lol... When I was at Mercer our biggest loads were forklifts... Multiple stops and the rates were close to 2 a mile if not 3 depending on where you were going... Hilarious lol

I worked Schneider Choice for 18 months. Really liked it, made good money, and found it to be a great stepping stone Leased a truck for 1 year and then bought a new T680. Moved to LS doing open deck last May.
It was tough at the beginning. Since, I made some good relationships, upgraded my qualification. Doing well and getting better. NO REGRETS.
LS has more potential to make money (especially open deck). Problem is, many don't have the foresight or the patients to get there.

    I am soo pissed!

I booked a room in Pigeon Forge near where my house burned down (credit card in booking and everything)... I get here and they won't let me stay here.
"Sorry we don't let locals stay here".

... didn't say that on your website!
and sir if my house didn't burn down I would be trying to get a hotel room!

lol that's pretty messed up, but there's no laws on the books about residency discrimination....

I wonder what the reasoning is behind such a policy.

Nope it's not, not when the owner discriminates against locals.
I mean I really can't even call my myself a local anymore being my house is ashes and I don't have a real address at the moment.

Why not stay in your truck?

    Save money.

Besides if you have nothing there then you're technically not a resident.

Probably doesn't want people setting up residency there....

    I don't agree but it's a free country I guess.
